ETC's got a new show called "Chill Spot", debuting this Sunday, March 16 at 8-8:30pm.

I got the chance to interview its hosts Kenny Waymack and Karen Pamintuan today for the Philippine Star at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Salcedo Village. They chatted up with me (and Manila Standard's Deni Rose Afinidad) about "Chill Spot", which will feature the latest fashion trends, the newest gadgets, the hippest places, you get the idea. All these exciting new stuff packed in a half-hour show.

Karen is a model and radio DJ for RX 93.1, where she co-hosts "Playtime". She has been featured in many leading publications already. Karen's also an accomplished sportswoman.

Kenny, on the other hand, is one firecracker of a guy. He won ETC's "It" Guy Search and boasts of killer dance moves (I'm telling you, if you ask him to breakdance, he will gladly oblige!) and smooth vocals (because he's part of the boyband Voyz Avenue). He's also a sought-after model and host.

It was obvious from the get-go that Kenny and Karen got chemistry, and from the looks of it, "Chill Spot" just might be what we all need. It was a fun interview, all in all. Despite their 'coño' features, they are actually very down-to-earth people who are always game for a good round of gabfest and whatever-fun-else that turns up.
